NC PromisedLand Beau Derek (V)
| Sammy 12/27/12
Due 5/20
| Not originally my intention, but I made the mistake of bringing a doe in heat into a pen full of bucks. I won't describe what ensued. I managed to get Beau out before she was bred, and pulled Sammy to join her. His Sire is Wrangler so I am not far off from what was intended and he should throw some nice color as an added bonus. Does $450.00 Bucks $350.00
Kidded 5/21/13 One doe (Middle Grove MS Be-Beau), One Buck (Middle Grove MS Beau-Jangles)

MiddleGrove HB Pixie Feather (+83)
| Talisman 12/11/12
Due 5/4
| Pixie Feather is maturing into an enhanced image of her dam Beau, retaining all the dairiness with a more capacious udder and nicer foreudder. I am trying an outcross with her which should produce lots of milk.
Does $350.00 Bucks $200.00
Kidded 5/6/13 One doe (Middle Grove HT Pixie Dust); one buck (to be named)

Fire (VVEA +81) |
|
| Apollo 11/25/12
| Fire is one of my favorites and has strong milking bloodlines on each side. Her half sister is superior genetics and appraised 90 E and her sire is a +B with his dam being superior genetics and #9 ADGA 2011 for milk test. She did not appraise particularly well last year, but it was primarily due ot the fact that she was almost dry. After reading through the results of linear appraisal, I decided to breed Fire with Apollo. If all goes as planned, he should enhance her conformation and give me lots of milk as well.
Does $400.00 Bucks $350.00
April 19, 2013. One Buck (Middle Grove MA TumbleWeed), one Doe (Middle Grove MA Nettle). Buck Available as buck or wether.

Retired and Dry 2013 Does |
NC Promisedland SS Thistle (V)
| Cyclone 12/28/12
| Appears not to have settled. May do a fall breeding.
|
Fairlea Rowan (V)
| TBD
| Rowan has one of the nicest and most capacious udders in my herd and is an excellent milker. Does $350.00 Bucks $200.00. I have decided to hold off on breeding Rowan for spring. We already have enough does to supply us with an excellent quantity of milk and this will give Rowan more time to recover from her last freshening where she hard 4 large kids all presented sideways. Depeding on the crop of spring kids, I may breed Rowan for fall.
